Celebrating

data-driven quality improvement

in General Practice and Aboriginal Member Services around Australia

Winners Announced

The PenCS Awards provide an opportunity to acknowledge the continuous hard work and achievements of primary health care in Australia.

The PenCS Awards recognise excellence in data-driven quality improvement in General Practice and Aboriginal Member Services, across Australia, by using health informatics.

This event was created to align with our PenCS guiding principles, which advocate that a high-performing health system should endeavour to achieve the objectives of the quintuple aim:

1. Improve individual’s experience of healthcare;

2. Improve population health;

3. Reduce per capita cost of healthcare delivery;

4. Improve professional experience of delivering care; and

5. Advance health equity.

Research shows that data-driven improvement is a foundation building block for high performing primary care that guides clinical excellence and improves patient outcomes.
